My group preceeded the MTC. We were housed at the St. Francis Catholic school on 9th East in Provo. We were some of the last missionaries to use the translation "proof" sheets, and the first to distribute the newly printed BofM. I served as a Branch President in Khon Gaen (sp?). I wrote the recommend for half (the woman) of the first Thai couple to be married in the temple (Hawaii) -- as far as I know. That was 1977.
Sister Ogden was in by group. We lost her to encephalitis. She was a joy and an inspiration. |
