Loved Thailand and the opportunity to serve. Spent last 10 months in translation of the Book of Mormon along with many other Elders and of course, Sister Srilaksana. What a GRAND lady! Have enjoyed serving in YM (all position plus scoutmaster 4 times), Bishopric (5 times), Early morning Seminary (5 years), and am presently serving as Deacon Quorum Advisor. 6 children and still trying to keep up with them. Sons have served in Mexico, New York and Argentina. The grandchildren are the best!
My group was first at LTM in Hawaii and we were shipped out early after 5 weeks because the Lord needed us. There were just 6 of us. They were an awesome bunch. While we felt like pioneers, there were about 40 who were there before us, so they had already had laid the foundation. Still was lots to be done.
