Michael S. Smith [Thailand Missionary 1969-1971] and Scott B. Smedley [Thailand Missionary 1972 - politics forced him to leave Singapore and he was assigned to Thailand] have been called as mission presidents starting July 1, 2009. President Smith will succeed President Dodge as President of the Thailand Bangkok Mission and President Smedley will succeed President Winegar as President of the Cambodia Phnom Penh mission.
