Dear Missionaries, I have been receiving a lot of emails and phone calls reference the news about the Kiev Temple. Elder Medvetsky emailed me about a letter from the Europe East Area presidency to his branch that was read in his sacrament meeting talking about the ground breaking ceremony held in Kiev at 10:00 on Saturday the 23rd of June for the Kiev temple. A wonderful birthday present for President Hinckley. I'm sure we will be hearing more about this in the next few days. I will try and post as much information as possible on this site once we have the official announcement from the church. The Sommerfeld's sent me an email commenting on the same topic. This is not a rumor or joke. The ground breaking event took place yesterday. Thanks for all the prayers and fasting on behalf of the saints in the Europe East Area. Love McQueens |
