I will visit the Ukraine after Christmas until January 8, 2009. I want to meet President Viktor Yuschenko and present him with a book on the history of my home state, California, a Book of Mormon, and his family history. Could the President of the Ukrainian Mission present the Book of Mormon and family history to President Yuschenko?
My great-great grandmother is Patty Bartlett Sessions who drove her own wagon from Nauvoo to the Salt Lake Valley, arriving with Brother Brigham on July 24, 1847.
I am an attorney in California.
I am not married and have contacted several Ukrainian women. A widower friend is coming over as well.
I seek advise on:
1. Recommended mode of travel--bus, train, or car?
2. List of LDS ward locations at: Khmelnitskiy, Odessa, Kherson, Lugansk, and Chernigov.
3. Whether any members have 'bed and breakfast' facilities available.
4. Attire so as to blend in with the Ukrainians.
5. Food for purchase to make breakfast and lunch. |
