Well, after forgetting my login and password, I finally decided to do a new profile, since the website wouldn't send me my password over the e-mail. Look for me under D. Ryan Johnson instead of David. My info reflects recent changes in calling and the like. Have a party!

well the wedding plans are moving along, and we've moved them up to May 24 of this year. The ceremony will still be held in the Oakland Temple and the invitation is still open to any who may be in the area at the time.

Brethren and Sisters,
I regret to inform you all that I will not be able to attend the mission reunion this year. On the 13th I with my unit, the 786th Quartermaster, will be shipping out to Fort Carson in preparation for the war with Iraq. I have been activated for the next year and look forward to this opportunity to serve.
I rejoice that I will be fighting to preserve that which I hold most dear... My Family, My Religion, My Nation and the freedom of the world. I know that God is with this endeavor and that He will guide our efforts.
I love you all! God be with us all in this battlefield called Earth!
Love,
Your fellow Soldier,
Joseph Garfield

Hello to all the wonderful missionaries who served in the Utah Salt Lake City South Mission!
Sister Stephens and I have been having a wonderful time getting reacquainted with family and the four new grandchildren (all boys) born while we were in SLC (really it was just three as #4 was born three weeks after we got home).
We have enjoyed the South again but miss the Valley. We thrill every time they flash a scene on the Olympics screen that was in our mission. However, I do not miss what I bet is a traffic nightmare during these exciting Olympics.
We look forward to the Reunion on April 5 (Friday) at 7 PM at the Murray South Stake Center. Elder Crosby and Elder Van Camp have worked hard to put together our first reunion.
Hopefully all our missionaries either got an E-mail or a letter announcing the event. Just in case someone got left off the list how about letting all those whom you stay in contact with know about the reunion. Thanks.
See ya in SLC on April 5!
ex-President and Sister Stephens

Hello All!
First of all I want to wish you each a Merry Christmas and Glorious New Year. And to Brother Schick, I hope for the best with your operation.
The Information I need is about the Colleges and Universities in Utah. I know that many of you have returned to UVSC and BYU and I was hoping that you could e-mail me with your opinions, living costs, social life, and education quality information.
My wife and I are considering the move late spring or early summer. If any of you read this and are going to college somewhere else, Hey!.... tell us why we should go there!
Life is Sweet, and we are trying to get out on "our own". I sure would love to hear from any of ya.
Thanks, And God Bless!
Love,
Joseph Garfield
