I taught at the MTC for about a year after my mission and went to BYU. I got a B.A. in French and a minor in English from BYU in August 1999. I moved back to Louisiana and worked for a telecommunications company. I moved to the Florida panhandle for a short while and then moved back to Louisiana. I was working as a Fortune 1000 Business Service Manager for Cingular Wireless/ AT&T Wireless. I decided to move back to Utah, and I transferred to a retail store with the same company. I only have 2 more classes to go to finish my M.B.A. through the University of Phoenix. I have maintained a 4.0 gpa so far! :) I hope to teach for the UOP after a couple more years.
Since my mission, I have served as a R.S. Counselor, Gospel Doctrine Teacher, YSA rep, FHE mom, Family History Consultant, Primary President, Young Women's Counselor, Youth Sunday School Teacher, and CTR teacher. As soon as I moved to my new ward in Utah, I was called to be a Gospel Doctrine teacher.
I miss being a missionary on Temple Square, and my mission will always have a special place in my heart. I plan on serving other missions later in life with my husband. |
