We lived in Blacksburg from 1975-1977 and were introduced to the Church. We had MANY missionary companions who came by for lemonade and to spend a few minutes in air conditioning. Elder (Gary) Bartholomew and Elder (Guy) James ultimately gave us the lessons before we moved to Logan, Utah! We still keep in touch with them today.

We were baptized while living in Logan, Utah, in September 1979 and then sealed a year later in the Logan temple. We have been in Hawaii for the past 22 years at BYU-Hawaii. I have been a bishop and a member of the stake presidency on campus--We appreciated all those faithful missionaries who taught us--and have thought about them--wondered where Elder Reynolds is now. Mahalo nui loa!
