I recently received this email from a very happy convert to the church:
I was baptized into the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints a year ago in June I was extremely blessed. An elder really saved my life I was going to commit suicide one night but Elder Jake Larsen a missionary was on the phone my sister had asked him to please talk to me, I was not born mormon but after taht one conversation with Elder Larsen it changed everything for me and it really brightened my life and my outlook on life and now I have come so far in my life and I am so very proud of myself and I know he would be too. I know he is off of his mission and he is living somewhere in Utah. If you could please help me to find an address it would mean the world to me so that I cant write him and let him know about my spiritual growth and how well I am doing. thank you in advance.

If you have contact with Elder Jake Larsen, please ask him to visit this page (www.mission.net/washington/dc/south/messages.php) so he can see this and email Tabitha.

Hey, I'm so excited to see this awesome site going so great!
I've just a small question, and I'm not sure where to post it-- so I'll start here!
Is there anyone who might be able to help me find someone I taught "way back" in 1989, who was baptized in the Falls Church Ward?? Sussy Canada's her name.
Any help would be so greatly appreciated! Simply e-mail me!
Thanks!
Cathy (May) Lemmon

Hello Elder Baker! I'd love to hear from you and hear about where you've been the last 12 years. It looks like you've been busy like me with raising four boys. I have four boys and one daughter. Life is real busy and good.

I'm glad people like the site. My hope is that we can get a big collection of mission photos, stories, experiences, etc. posted on this site. It will be a fun trip down memory lane for all of us every time we visit the site, as well as a good show of what's to come for any future DC South missionaries.
As for the site itself, it's called Site-In-A-Box. I wish I could take credit for it, but the only part of it that I made was the logo.. and I actually had my brother make that for me.
