My husband and I lived in Lynnwood before we were married and he took the disscussions from the Elders there. I was raised in the church but was not active at that time. As it turned out, it took 4yrs. and 3 sets of disscussions before Todd was baptized and I became active again. Now, 19 years later, we are strong members in the Spokane North Stake, have 4 boys and a daughter and our oldest son is currently serving a mission in Slovakia. What a blessing the testimony & patience of those diligent young men and many home/visiting teachers who didn't give up on us in those first 4 yrs. have turned out to be! |
