Hi! My name is Kaitlin Carruth and I am entering the MTC on September 14th for the Paraguay Asuncion North mission! I wanted to ask the sisters who have served here what things they would recommend wearing/bringing to Paraguay or things that they would not recommend bringing. Any input would be wonderful. Thanks!

The problem with e-mails is that we don’t know where you are living, but it you are in the area, we invite you to attend Travis’s homecoming. (Besides that, it is a great excuse to get to see you again). We can hardly believe it's time for his return.
Travis has been serving his mission in Santiago, Chile and next week we are leaving to pick him up. After we spend a few days in Chile, we are going on to Paraguay for a visit; Travis still has a lot of friends in Paraguay, his total high school experience i.e.: driving, dating, dances, sports,
lots of studying, was in the American School of Asunción.
He will be speaking in Sacrament meeting on Sunday, August 14 at 9:00 A.M.
If you can make it we would be delighted. His homecoming will be at the same church of our last April reunion. The address of the Church is:

Take the Highland/Alpine exit off I-15 travel East 6.2 miles. The church is on the right.
Note: Our next reunion will be September 30, 2005 at 7:00 P.M., in this same location, spread the word.

Estimados compañeros: Quiero agradecer a cada uno de aquellos que en estos tiempos de dificultad dieron una mano y la voz de aliento para poder superar todo el dolor. Mi madre, Pilar Angelica Lopez Garcia, falleció la noche del domingo víctima de un cáncer que tenía. A mis a migos y compañeros, gracias por todas esas oraciones que dieron fuerza a mi madre para poder seguir un poco más con nosotros. Las reuniones se llevaran a cabo el dáa de hoy (lunes) en la estaca de Quilicura, Santiago de Chile. La capilla estará abierta a partir de las 10:00 A.M. Gracias a todos y recuerden amar a sus madres hasta el último momento.

Hace unos días encontré al élder Guzmán y me dijo que el hijo del Pdte. Anderson servñia en la misión Santiago Norte por lo que vendría a buscarlo y aprovecharía la oportunidad de hacer una reunión con los ex misioneros de la misión Paraguay Norte para mediados del 20005.
