Comments: We lived in Sao Paulo, Brasil from 1999 through 2001 which was almost like being back in Argentina. With my job, I was returning to Argentina every two or three months. It was great and brought back so many wonderful memories. My Spanish (and now Portuguese) is still strong after all of these years. In February 2000 I attempted to summit Aconcagua, the tallest mountain in the western hemisphere, near Mendoza, with my two sons. We did not make the top, but had a great time together. That's what made the trip worthwhile. We toured the upper Amazon in July 2002 and had a great time. Macchu Pichu is next.
I have three children, all have served or are serving missions. All have married or are heading for marriage in the temple. I have travelled extensively all over this world and Dorothy was right, "there is no place like home". But it has been fun for us to see where other people live. |
