My son is currently serving in the Paraguay Asuncion Mission (Oct 2002-2004).
Picked up my son in Asuncion at the end of his mission and was able to spend a day in B.A. on the way home. What a fantastic experience! The B.A. Temple is very close to Ezeiza International Airport and is beautiful.
FYI, Juan Carlos Avila (Carlitos) is now mission president in Mendoza and Sergio is an Area Authority for Paraguay, Uruguay and Argentina. Sergio has also been a stake president. Also, all six Avila children served missions.
Update: Juan Carlos Avila was called as an Area Authority in the April '09 General Conference. Sergio is also serving in that capacity. |
