How much I owe to so many of you for friendship, encouragement, leadership and growth. And especially to Juan Carlos and his family.
I worked at the Church Office Building for 3 years when Pres. Avila was a reg. rep, and knew at conference time where to find him. I also got the rare opportunity to meet with Pres. Kimball in a very quiet setting, one on one, and thanked him for sending Ron (my brother) to Argentina, as we served together as companions. (Pres. Kimball was perplexed and asked "How did that happen?") But I got a hug and a kiss which I shall never forget the power of his embrace.
My family picture is from my son Matthew's wedding. Daughter is Emily, a fantastic flutist (who I hope soon will perform with the Ochestra at Temple Square. Wife Cerise (who waited for me and only got engaged once while on my mission).
I love you all and will rejoice at our next reunion....either side of the veil.
