| Thanks to the webmasters. I had no idea we had a good website up and running until today. Just being able to see so many familiar names and look up some old friends is such a blessing to me. The mission was such a wonderful experience - to be doing something truly significant each day. Very hard, but so worthwhile, and I know that our labors will have eternal benefits for those who we taught and who stay firm in the faith. Perhaps we could organize a combined fast for those who we taught, that the Lord will help the active to stay strong and the inactive to return to what they found to be true. This could be a blessing to the current missionaries as well as the former missionaries and to the Church in the Patagonia. If the current mission leaders like the idea, they can send out a message with the date of the fast. Either way, I am so thankful to have served in the Argentina, Neuquen mission, under a president who taught me the value of hard work, and to have labored for and with the Lord of the vineyard in His cause. I would love to hear from anybody about the growth of the church in the Patagonia since 1995, or from those I worked with. |
