I just saw Tal Bachman's comments on "The Mormons", saying he served in northern Argentina.
While there, he alleges his apartment was invaded by poisonous frogs or toads, he had to take baths in and drink green, scummy water, served in areas with crocodiles, and baptized whole villages of aboriginal people.
I have a hard time believing what he said, but I figured I'd ask you guys to see if anyone could corroborate his stories. Thanks.

I have neglected to mention my son's name in my previous message. It is Elder Patrick Charest and his companion was at the time, Elder Olsen from Tuscon, AZ.

My son was able to help salvage mission-related items and some personal belongings of the Mission President and his wife. Pres. and Sister Hutchison had to stay in a hotel for 10 days or so. The mission home had recently been renovated and they had been back in the home just a short time.
My son has nothing but wonderful things to say about them so I am sure that things will be in order soon.
Interestingly enough my son who is serving in the Carcarana area was staying in the Mission Home because his apt. had caught on fire and had a lot of smoke damage.
Fortunately he and his companion were at church and no one was injured. They were both out shopping with Hermana to get new clothes when she received a call about the fire at the Mission Home.
It has been an incredible experience for my son and his companion and of course I'm sure for the Hutchisons as well.

Merrill know what that means! de este acontecimiento tan importante para nuestras vidas.
Con mucho amor,
"El bautizador" (ex elder) Gabriel Cánepa
