I haven't updated this in a few months. I graduated from BYU in April of '06 and now we live in a suburb of Portland, Oregon. We moved here in July for a job I took with a sports marketing company called Game Face. The short summary is that the company helps place people into sales and marketing jobs with sports teams, and I am involved with the recruiting for that.
It's a fun job and right up my alley. I get to travel to career fairs now and again and usually those career fairs are followed by a game, so that's a nice perk.
My wife Heidi and son Jackson are enjoying the area, and Jackson is almost 10 months now and is shaping up to be a tall skinny kid with lots of energy. I've got a brother finishing school at BYU and playing his last year of bball and another on a mission in Hawaii.
I'm involved with the priest's quorum in my ward, and my wife plans all the Enrichment activities. I like teaching the priests and it's fun to feel involved in a ward again. Life is good and that's the update from me. It's nice to see the email updates from you guys. |
