Comments:
I am currently residing in my home town on the little piece of land where I grew up. My husband and I have a little boy Thomas James who is nearly two years old and an absolute Gift from God. He loves to be outside and "help" in the garden, "go fishing" and "play football." My husband, Marcus is currently attending a 5 month study abroad program in Morelia, Mexico where he is studying Spanish and History and in the future will receive his Masters Degree in Education.
Since the return of my mission I have spent a tremendous amount of time caring for ill family members and utilizing pre-mission healthcare knowlege. I have seen the hand of the Lord work in tremendous ways to heal, bless and strengthen individuals both physically and spiritually ill. I Marvel in his power, love and glory. In 2006 our family went through somewhat of a refiners fire as we had five close family members return home to the God who gave them life, some very young. Our understanding of the Eternal nature of families and the importance of missionary work has greatly increased through these experiences.
In the Fall, I will be attending Western Oregon University where I will attempt classes for the first time in several years. We are fortunate to have our parents nearby so occasionally our little boy gets to go play with his Grandmas and Grandpas while we attend class. I feel like the Lord has been blessing our family tremendously. We have had many unexpected events occur and many wonderful doors open that could only be through the hand of the Lord. He is Always aware of our needs and will hear our prayers.
