I currently live in Idaho working at the Idaho National Laboratory as an associate scientist with a group of nuclear physicists. I find my work interesting/challenging, but would rather be at home with my little girl, Abby Gail (who is turning 2 years old in a couple of weeks!)
My husband is a fire-fighter and is at home with our daughter a majority of the time. He's a fantastic father and works really hard to take care of me and our family. I'm really blessed to have him in my life.
Our daughter, Abby, is the greatest miracle we could have ever hoped for! We were unable to have biological children, so through some pretty amazing circumstances, we were able to adopt our precious little angel. Email me if you want the story -- it really is cool, if I do say so myself!
I've spent most of my married life serving in either the Young Women's organization or Primary. It's a testimony to me that Heavenly Father definitely knows us on a very intimate level -- he knows my attention span is about the same as a child, so.........
On a more serious note, I'm truly grateful for the opportunities I've been given to serve the little children in my wards and stakes. They have taught me so much about faith and dedication. They give me courage to stand up for the things that are right, and I admire them for their unwavering testimonies! What a wonderful blessing to associate with such pure and humble little people. I am also truly grateful for the experiences I've been given pre, post, and during my mission that have strengthened my knowledge of a loving, caring, and merciful God. I love the Savior and hope that I'm at least heading in a direction that would bring honor to His name and help build the Kingdom.
Hope all the ATM alumni are doing well and are happy! Contact me anytime you want to "catch up!" |
