I am currently studying full-time to become a school teacher in the middle-years of education as well as working part-time at a local hardware store. I was blessed to find and marry my queen, Amie Rea, in the Brisbane, Australia Temple on the 16th of June 2007, only 7 months after returning home from my mission. We are happy parents of Zachary David McCall born; the 30th of March 2008 and Emily Maree McCall born; the 4th of December 2009. We are also anticipating the arrival of our third child due to be born in May 2011. Since returning from my mission I have been blessed to serve in a variety of callings in a number of wards (mainly 2, one that we resided in for 2 years, and the current ward we reside in) The Callings I have served in were; 1st Counselor in Sunday School, Executive Secretary, Young Men's Advisor, Young Men's 2nd Counselor and my current calling is Young Men's President. I feel truly blessed by having the opportunity to have served in the greatest mission in the history of the world - for me! The people I met, the lessons I learnt and the service I was able to give, moulded me into the man I am today. I know my Father in Heaven lives and loves me! I know his gospel and church were restored in their fullness through a chosen prophet! I know that my Saviour died for me, and extends his arms of love and mercy towards me to welcome me home with him, and my family! I love my family very much, including my extended family of the Australia Adelaide Mission; my mission presidents (Strong and Quinn), companions and fellow missionaries, as well as the members of the Adelaide Mission. |
