Comments:
My daughter just got home from her mission in Ft. Worth Texas and was looking up her mission web site. I said 'what the heck-let see if there's one for Adalaide!.' As you can see I found it. I see alot of others have found it also. What was even more exciting when I went to the picture section I saw a picture of all the missionaries in front of the chapel. When I clicked on it and found out it was taken in1976, I told my daughter I bet I'm in that picture, and sure enough there i was laughing right along with every one else. Thank you Elder Turner [are you still from Oak Ridge Tenn] for sending in that picture. What a flood of memories!! My son just got his call to Tacoma Washington, and leaves Dec.19. My daughter and son will have their homecoming and farewell the same Sunday on Dec 16. I'm one proud dad! My other daughter is attending BYU Idaho. [Any of you got a son going there who needs a date?]
I've just be released form the Bishopric, and am back as a Varsity Advisor for the young men. I think of my mission most every day and read from my journal as part of my lesson every sunday. The church is still true, and its great to see a temple in Adelaide. Who'd have thought that would be. Hope to hear from you. Elder Kim Hendrickson
