Elder 29 Aug 2001
In what seems at times a long long time ago, in a place far away. A not so young Elder went to the MTC. While he was there, many wonderful things took place around him. These are but a few of them. As a group we were to be exposed to the "joys" of tracting door to door. For one us, his experienceonly helped me to know what I was to embark upon was important, and true. On his first try at tracting he happened upon a Jehovah's Witness. This man was kind enough to hear the message the Elder was to give. The Elder's words were full of his testimony, and strong was the spirit. So strong in fact. All present were given to tears. I have always hoped that man would reflect and think more on what happened. Another experience is my first view of the NZ Temple. I don't think there are words that can do justice to the feelings I felt. I had never seen a Temple up close. Even today, I feel the same way when I visit Adelaide from Darwin. The joy and spirit is with me now as I remember these times. And speaking of time. I have no more left. So until next time. I was Elder Isitt.
