The next month I met my future wife, Dale Jean Rawson. She had just returned from the Australia, Brisbane mission. We have 5 children, R.J. who served in the Catania Italy mission and was married in the 2004 to a returned Sister Missionary. She served in one of the Guatemala Missions. They blessed us with a grandson in November, 2005, our first grandchild.
Alice is the next oldest, she was married in March of 2005, no children as yet. She has attended BYU Hawaii and will finish her degree here in Texas.
Heather, who is 19, is out on her own trying to figure out herself. She has a great spirit about her and loves working with Special Needs children and will no doubt spend her life in service to these special children.
We have a set of identical twin girls, Sarah and Susie. They are 17 years old and are a joy to be around.
I work for an engineering software company as a subject matter expert on Manufacturing. My title is Solutions Consultant, which means I do product presentations and benchmark competitions to help our company sell software. I travel more than I like, but I find the work very challenging and look forward to getting up everyday and going to work.
We have lived in Escondido, CA, Provo, UT (BYU), Grand Junction, CO and now McKinney, TX.
Not a day goes by that I do not reflect on some experience from my mission. Weird isn’t it. |
