Well, a lot has changed since I last updated my profile. I spent two years in Washington, DC, where last year I finished a Master's program in International Development and Economics at George Washington University. It was great. I had a chance to do some internships, including at the Embassy of Brazil, the Overseas Private Investment Corporation, The White House (President's Council of Economic Advisers), US Treasury Dept (Latin America Office), and the Inter-American Development Bank.
I married Tamara White in July 2005 after graduating from GWU in May. She's an amazing girl and she keeps me on my toes. We live in New York City, where I'm the ward financial clerk and she's in the Primary presidency. She works as Director of Research for NYC's Medicaid program.
I recently started a job as an international economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. I work in the Emerging Markets Group, and so far I've only been assigned to cover Venezuela. Later I'll be assigned a handful of other countries and global economic issues. It's been great so far. Here's the website if you're interested:
