I married a Brazilian from my first area, Valo Velho -- he was serving a mission at the same time in the Salvador South Mission. We met after our missions and were married in 1997. I've kept up with my Portuguese.
I would love to hear from Sister White, Sister Patriarca, Sister Carmack, Sister Johnson and Sister Pavao. I miss you guys.
I hear from Elder Ihnen and his wife about once a year.
We live in the heartland and keep busy with two little girls. Rebecca is four and Mikayla is two. Roberto is almost done with school.
I work for an advertising agency and do public relations for the "got milk?" people. How cool is that?
I currently serve in the Relief Society and Carlos is the building manager. We love Iowa and enjoy our friends and great neighbors.
We've been to Brazil a couple of times since my mission and it's always fun to see the areas where we served.
