| Comments: Chris and I have 5 wonderful children. Three girls and two boys. The two boys served missions in Argentina and Amy, our oldest daughter, served in the Portugal Lisbon North mission. I spent 4 years as a linguist in the U.S. Navy and graduated in 1972 from BYU. I have served as a counselor in three bishoprics, and on the high council. I currently am the Activity Committee Chairman in the Fontana 5th ward of the Fontana, California stake. I was blessed to serve in Brazil at a time when an explosion of growth was to take place after the organization of the first stake in all of South America at Bosque da Saude. I was there. The memory of that great day still lingers. My family and I enjoy celebrating Brazilian culture every month with a well made feijoada completa, farofa, couve a mineira and a cold glass of guarana.
