Your Occupation: Aerospace Systems Engineer

Comments:
Presently, I live in Albuquerque, NM, with my wife Sandra. We have 4 children (3 daughters and a son). The kids are all married and live in Albuquerque, along with our 7 grandchildren (soon to be more). I have served in bishoprics and two high councils, been a scoutmaster, and taught early-morning seminary.

When not working as an engineer, I am a semi-professional musician playing mainly Celtic music (hammered dulcimer, flutes, whistles, cello) with my oldest daughter who plays harp. We have released three CDs.

My job as an engineer has taken me all over the world, and I could spend the rest of my life living out of a suitcase. But one of my favorite spots on the planet is Los Angeles. I often return and visits mission sites that are dear to my heart. These places represent sacred ground where my spirit grew and I learned to love God's children, even those who live in the toughest of neighborhoods in East L.A.

LDS QUOTE:
"You are a great army of returned missionaries. Go forward with new zeal and determination, and through your example shine the light of the gospel in this troubled world. This is the Lord’s work in which we are engaged. God lives. Jesus is the Christ. We belong to His Church. This is my witness to you in the name of Jesus Christ, amen."
- Elder L. Tom Perry
Ensign, Nov. 2001
