Life is good! Currently (as of 11-7-14), divorced and single of 14 years. Have 8 children and 9 grandchildren. My youngest son is 18 and attending the U of U(no mission in the cards unfortunately). Living in South Salt Lake, working for myself as a Landscaper over the past thirty years. Been active the whole time, and presently serving as the ScoutMaster in the Central Park Ward. It's a challenge.
The Gospel is true brothers and sisters. But then you already know this. Your missions made their mark. The question is, are we valiant and faithful in our testimonies? How much are we willing to sacrifice for to serve and keep the commandments of the Lord and love our fellowman? Righteous families are the key to preventing the ills of society and spreading the Gospel throughout the world. It all starts and ends at home. Troubled times are upon us and we all need to stand tall in the truth and reach out to our neighbors and bring them our light, before we lay down with the Lord at night. My testimony and the blessings of the Spirit have never been stronger and more fulfilling than they are now. Jesus Christ lives and directs the affairs of His kingdom today through prophets, seers and revelators, like our beloved president Thomas S. Monson. We are blessed to be part of the true and everlasting Church of Jesus Christ which has indeed been restored in it's fullness in our time through the prophet Joseph Smith. The Book of Mormon is true! How can anyone dispute or deny it? Let's be bold in our testimonies and plant the seeds of salvation on fertile ground to the glory of God until our last breath. These things I testify of and will die to defend. Praise the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen |
