I married Mark Allen in 1978, in the Salt Lake Temple. We moved to Arizona soon after we were married and have lived here most of our married life. We have seven children, four boys and three girls. My husband and I own an electrical contracting business with 60 employees. Our sons are involved with us in the business and some day we hope to turn that business over to them and serve a mission as a couple.
My husband and I have served in all the organizations in the church. Currently I am serving in as an advisor in the Mia Maid class and my husband is serving with the High Priests. Our four son have all served missions and two of our children are married. We only have one daughter still in high school. We are enjoying the world of young adults and sometimes we like empty nesters when our children are out and about.
Our family continues to grow with five grandchildren and another one on the way in Nov 2007. Whenever we can get away from work, we enjoy going to Roosevelt Lake in Arizona with our family and friends. The gospel and our family have brought the greatest joy and happiness into our lives. We would love to hear from our friends in the mission field. We visited with Jonathan and Lynette Serroa while we were in Hawaii in Sept 2007.
I have enjoyed reading material about President Lee written by President Goates. I will always remember my mission experience with fond memories. |
