So the last time I updated it was like 2 maybe 3 weeks ago. But there is more exciting news, so I thought I'd tell you all!! We went for my first ultrasound on the 10th. So exciting. So I went into the room and the docter told Shawn that it would only take like 15 minutes to take the measurements of the baby and then he could come in and look at the baby. So he waited for an hour in the waiting room. He's pretty much going crazy by now wondering whats taking so long. So he went up to the reception area and was like what's going on? What's taking so long. Just then the docter came out and said I'm sorry it's taking so long but with twins its takes a while to get everything set up..... He was like what? The docter said "sir you're having twins!" Then Shawn said oh crap. HAHA. By this point I was worrying about what he was thinking and if he was passed out on the floor in the lobby. We had no idea that we were having twins. They told me pretty much right away and was like you got to be kidding me. I think they thought that we already knew, but we had only heard one heart beat at the docters and they had only ever looked for one. There aren't many sets of twins in my family. My dads brother has a set of fraternal twins; a boy and a girl. So anywho they think that they are both girls. But they couldn't tell for one of them because the abilical cord was blocking one of them. But they are sharing the same plasenta so that's a good sign that they are identical. In a couple of weeks we go back for another ultrasound and then we'll know for sure..... Twins Yippy!! |
