My wife and I have four wonderful children. We have been living in Okinawa, Japan going on ten years. I am currently teaching 4th grade for the Department of Defense Dependent Schools. I enjoy it very much. Our eldest daughter, Christina (1982) is living with her son, William (2002) in Salt Lake City, and living with her is our youngest daughter, Virginia (1986).
Our second oldest daughter, Mary Elizabeth (1983) is serving in the Belguim, Brussels/Neatherlands Mission. She is now working in Antwerp, Belgium. She also served in Amsterdam and Leiden, the Netherlands. She will be released on May 31st of this year. Our son, Jason (1985) served a mission in the Singapore Mission. He returned to Okinawa in October of this past year. He will be attending SUU (Southern Utah Universtiy in Cedar City) this fall.
My wife, Letha, has passed away. She died a year ago on November 26, 2005. We just celebrated our 24th Wedding Anniversary on November 21, 2005. I am so grateful for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I know with all my heart that this is the Lord's true and living church. I am living my life so I can be reunited with her at a later time.
I am also active in the Boy Scouts of America here in Okinawa. I am the course director for Wood Badge to be held in March of 07. I will also be Summer Camp Director for this year.
I have held many callings in the Church and am willing to hold many more. |
