Sis. Oakes just arrived in Los Angeles on 8/21/13. She wrote about a Good Samaritan moment she witnessed "we were crossing one of the main streets when we stopped next to a hispanic man and a blind man. The blind man knew no spanish and the other knew no english. They had never met before and yet the Hispanic man was helping the blind one cross one street, then another, and another. when they reached the other side he tried to communicate the location and walked back the way they came. it is so comforting to know that even in places like this one there are always people with the light of christ in them." |
