I was baptized in November 1978, but was taught by 2 young missionaries somewhere between the years of 1974-1976. At that time I did not join the church, but I knew I wanted to. There was pressure from others to not do what I knew was right. I was young at the time, and chose to follow the advice of those people rather than following my heart. Two years later I was baptized and confirmed by 2 equally wonderful, but different missionaries. I am now married. Was sealed to my husband in 1984. We have 4 children and 2 grandchildren. I consider my life a great success in many ways.
My purpose for entering this website is to find the missionary who taught me way back in the mid 1970's. I want him to know it was his influence that caused me to join the church very quickly when I met the second set of missionaries. I want him to know that his work left a very lasting impression. His name was Elder Nye. He was very tall and had red hair. I just want to say "thank-you". :-) |
