To all those who are wondering, I had surgery on my notorious ankle three weeks after I returned home. The surgery went well, but there was a lot of complications with the recovery due to walking on it for so long while it was injured. It took about 18 months to recover 95%, and during that time I struggled tremendously to regain my dance technique. I saw huge improvements last year and was offered numerous performance and teaching opportunities. I recently graduated from BYU with B.A. in Dance Education, and was offered a position at Bingham High School.
I married Cory Hester on Dec 28, 2004, and we currently live in Provo. We will move up to Sandy in the Fall for my job while my husband attends the Radiology program at Weber State. I feel so blessed in my life, and I feel grateful to be able to serve during the time I was able to.
