News Item: To all those who served around Sister Wendy Lamb (1997-1998)

I am not sharing happy news but I thought that all those who have served around Sister Wendy Lamb (Married to Ted Wells) would like to know this.
Last January, Wendy passed away in a car accident. She was coming back from a family activity with her husband and her 5 children (3 from Ted's first mariage and 2 of their own) when a drunk driver crossed the median and ran into their van. She and their oldest daughter (14 years old) died in the car a few minutes after the crash.
Ted is the one who called me and informed me of this tragedy. It clearly reminded me that we need to be prepared to meet God at all times because we really do not know when our times will come.
Ted is being very strong and brave under such circumstances thanks to his faith in God and love for Wendy. He is receiving a lot of support from his father, his in-law and his ward family. We can pray for him as he is left alone with 4 children.
