April 2005 update: We have made our move to the large metropolis of Pocatello, ID. It is a short distance from our business and so the 25 minute drive is relaxing for me. I am currently Gospel Doctrine teacher in a very large growing ward and enjoying it so much! Sister Hoybjerg was just sustained as Young Women's President ... what lucky young women! Our oldest child Anika recently got her Masters Degree in School Psychology from Idaho State University and is working on certification for such and considering PhD direction. Her daughter Elle is 2 1/2 and adorable. We look so much forward to their visits and are so happy that Draper, Utah is quite close. Christian and his wife Megan are living in Loma Linda, CA and he is finishing up his 2nd year of Dental School there. He has done very well in an extrememly competitive atmosphere. His wife Megan recently got her RN degree and is expecting our 2nd grandchild in September. Adam is marrying Whitney Rice of Draper, Ut. on April 6, 2005 in the Salt Lake Temple. She is wonderful and has our love and support. She will graduate in a year in Health Science and Adam the same time in Neuro-Science. He is currently applying to Dental Schools. Our youngest Paul was in the Dominican Republic mission since July 2004 when in late January he had a anaphalactic reaction to Fire Ant bites and was in the hospital several days. He was home with us for six weeks and in March was reassigned to the Minneapolis Minnesota Mission. He is still Spanish speaking and doing so well. The Mission President's wife called recently, "I just couldn't resist calling any longer!" she explained how they had prayed Paul there and were delighted in him being a critical answer to those prayers. We witness sweet miracles in many ways more than we can express. As Elder Bednar stated in conference recently, God's "tender mercies" are abundantly obvious to us. We have been irregular in Reunions for different reasons. We will have one in April of 2006. We are considering venues and would be happy to hear input.
Know of our love and happiness in serving with you. Call us any time and drop in the same. Watch out for each other and let us know if you worry, or there are others in distress.
So much love and appreciation,
The Hoybjergs
