I enjoy missionary work. I converted to the Church when I was 24 years old, and didn't get to serve a full time mission, but I served a Stake mission in the Barstow Stake while living in the Hesperia Ward in 1976-77, then served as a Ward Mission leader in the Highland First Ward in 1993-94. Highland 1st Ward's baptism rate has been high for years, but due to Norton AFB closing we still struggle to grow. In fact we have moved our Ward boundary toward the East twice. First from Orange St. to Palm Ave. Then a few years later from Palm Ave. to Boulder Ave.
As you are probably already aware we will soon have a Temple in Redlands. We are looking forward to that in great anticipation.
