Comments:
We (Jeff's parents) and Jeff looked at this website several times before he entered the MTC. We wondered if there were any other missionaries entering anywhere near the day he did in January. We were wondering about Derek Dangerfield whose entry date said he was entering on Sept 24, 2007, and we first noticed this back in November 2006. We wondered if that was a typo and he was really entering on Jan 24, 2007 like Jeff, or if Derek actually got his call 10 months ahead of time. The only reason we wondered is Jeff was wondering if there was someone else heading off to Canada about the same time he was (march 27 he leaves the MTC), or if he is the only one in the MTC at this time going to the Calgary Canada mission. So far, he thinks he is. He is going to be one of the spanish speaking elders in the Calgary mission, and he is the only one in his district who is going to be "Alberta Bound", the rest are going to Long Beach CA - spanish speaking. He's been in the MTC almost two weeks, having a fun but exhausting time, and loves learning spanish and all the gospel classes, and playing basketball during gym. He is so excited to be going to Canada, and he thinks it's such a bonus to get to learn another language, spanadian. We and Jeff were just curious if he is the only one in the MTC going to CAL-CAN right now. |
