Serving a mission was one of the most cherished experiences I have had. At the time, it was very difficult and I struggled for many reasons. I had wonderful companions and I wish I could tell each of them how they helped to change my life. I have thought of you and prayed for you over the years. The years since Canada Halifax have brought much growth and growing up for me, but my mind often takes me back to Canada and eastern Maine. I have had a great life and I am a happy person. Still, there is much work to do but I have a strong testimony and an abiding love for the gospel to see me through to where I am going. I am enjoying family and work with as much travel time as I can get. I have taught elementary school for ten years and now am beginning an exciting career as a school administrator. I am the Superintendent-Principal of a small school district near my hometown and I love going to work. That is very important. The gospel helps me to be the kind of leader I am. I often think of serving another mission some day. I wish I knew then what I know now. Take good care and I hope to hear from you. Oceans of blessings to each of you. |
