Dear Missionaries, Marian died this morning, May 5. She is now at rest with her Heavenly Father and the Savior. Alma 40:12 Marian loved all of you missionaries so much. Being in the mission field with you was one of the great highlights of her life. Attached is an information sheet about the funeral. I know many of you are too far away to attend. Marian wrote her funeral program and wanted all missionaries who were at the funeral to sing Called to Serve.. We send our love, Merlin and Marian
Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 8, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Valley View 12th Ward, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2125 East Evergreen Ave., (3435 South) Salt Lake City.
Friends may call at the Holladay Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 So. Highland Drive, Salt Lake City Utah, on Sunday, May 7, 2006, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:oo p.m. and at the Valley View 12th Ward one hour prior to the funeral service. Interment will be at the Holladay Memorial Park, 4900 So. Memory Lane (1900 East), Salt Lake City Utah.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Road Home Homeless Shelter, 210 S. Rio Grande St., SLC, UT, 84101 (801-359-4142).
