My mom & dad have just joined the Cape Verde mission and are currently serving in Sao Filipe on Fogo. They are sort of taking care of the elders and sisters there, making sure they've got meals and Sun. dinner. It's been quite an adventure so far. Their bank card won't work over there and they haven't been able to set up the internet or phone because of it. We (my brothers and sisters) are missing them soooo much and can't wait till we can communicate more with them. They're having a tough time with the language and can't speak Portugese well enough for the bank to get their card working. It's a Mastercard: anything I should know about it and why it won't work? |
