I was married to Ariane in 1999 in the SLC temple.
Graduated with a BS from UofU in 2000.
Moved to NY in 2001 (just in time for 9/11).
First daughter, Chloe, born in 07/2003.
Entered BYU MBA program in 2004.
Finished BYU MBA-Finance program in 2006.
Second daughter, Daphne, born in 05/2006.
Third and last child, and first son, Evan, born in 01/2008. (The picture is of us taking Evan home from the hospital.)
Currently working for Kennecott Land in SLC.
Ariane & I traveled to Chile in 2000 for 1 month and visited a lot of the old haunts, acquaintances, and new places. One of the families I had found, taught, and baptized had been sealed in the temple, remained active for the intervening 7 years, and their daughters were all either enrolled or graduated from seminary in Pto. Montt. The two years of sogginess was suddenly more worthwhile. (By the way: I loved my mission--including the rain).
I hang out a lot with (Elder) Koby Hubbs. We go hunting, fishing and hiking a lot.
Oh, and while I can still converse in Spanish, my skills are abysmal in comparison to what they once were. |
