Comments:
OK, so I finally updated my entry. I think I was registered with the previous Osorno Mission Alumni website.

So I grew up in California but within a month of returning home to CA, I up and moved to Boise, Idaho in November of 1993. I have been here ever since. Love it.

Got married in August 1995 to the former Hermana Ordóñez of Ecuador. We have three children ages 12, 10 and 5.

I have been in and out of school forever. Most recently completing a Master in Education. I am a certified Special Education teacher as well as a certified Spanish teacher. I use Spanish every day at home and work.

My wife and I most recently finished a three year stint working in the Boise Spanish Branch (me in the branch presidency and Silvia as the Gospel Doctrine teacher).

We are now back in our home ward. I am the Executive Secretary and Silvia, a Relief Society teacher.

Our children are awesome. We have a roof over our heads. Plenty to eat. Both of us are still employed! Life is good.

The almost two years I spent in Southern Chile were incredible. I am so thankful that I had the privledge to serve a full time mission. It was such an awesome experience to serve the people of Chile as well as the Sisters and Elders of the mission. My wife and I have yet to make it back to Chile but have spent a fortune in several trips to Ecuador. We'll get back to Chile eventually.

Look forward to seeing those of you who make it to the mission reunion at Rapier's place in October. My wife and I plan on attending.

Saludos con un abrazo y un beso,
J.D. Collins
