Following my mission in Chile, I completed my bachelor's degree in Business Management at Weber State College in Ogden, Utah. I then served as an officer and pilot in the US Air Force and the Alaska National Guard, retiring after 23 years of military service. Overlapping my National Guard Service, I was employed as a Boeing 737 captain for MarkAir until 1995. I since then, I've been a Boeing 747 captain for Atlas Air. I earned a Master's Degree in Guidance and Counseling back in '84. My wife and I raised 5 sons and a daughter -- all married and (as of October 2008) have 11 grandchildren. Most of my post-mission church service has been in the Aaronic Priesthood as quorum adviser and Scout leader. I've also served on the Sunday School Presidency and both ward and Stake levels, two Stake Missions, Elders' Quorum presidency (twice), Ward Clerk, Ward Executive Secretary, and as a teacher in the Elders' Quorum and Sunday School. |
