Comments:
After returning from Chile, I married my sweetheart who had waited for me. We had 6 children and lived most of our life in Ft. Collins, CO, where I was a computer programmer for U.S. Forest Service Research. My sweetheart passed away in 1991 and I later met a beautiful lady at a Singles fireside; we married 7 months later, with 5 teenagers still at home. We made it through that stage and after a couple of years of emptying nesting and retiring, we decided to leave the hustle and bustle of the Front Range and moved to Gunnison (near the Manti Temple). We serve in the Temple and as volunteers in the Correctional Facility here. These are truly the golden years--the lead Pres. Hinckley speaks of is beginning to seep in but we're going to enjoy the gold as long as we can. |
