My mission continues to inspire my life every day. The journey on the planet has not been easy but rich and blessed. I spent 5 years in TV News, 8 at BYu as News Director for KBYU, received my PHD at the Missouri School of Journalism. In 1995 a sad divorce not of my choosing nearly broke my life -surely my heart. Yet my fortress of faith had been fortified. I moved to Arizona in 2001 to teach at the Cronkite Journalism School and met my bride Angela Livesey shortly thereafter. We have been married 10 years. Three children (all in their 20s) from my first marriage grace our life. I travel a lot for my position which focuses on global journalism. I am active on social media and serve on the high council.
