Comments:
In late 1971 and early 1972 I organized a missionary singing group called "Los Cinco Mormones." We sang on all the national radio chains and on an "American Bandstand" type of television show. As of 1972, we were the only performing group invited back to perform for a second time on the show. We also made the cover of the Church News. Other members were: Gary Wilden, John Hall, Mark Stubbs, and Ray Hunt. Our biggest hit song was our arrangement of "El Arroyito Da" to which we had the in studio audience dancing.
