Hello all!
Well it has been a while since my last update, I am now in Iraq with the army doing security work. The days are long and hot but I am with a good bunch of guys and other than being away from Mary Jane and our newborn son Isaac, things are well. This deployment was totally unexpected as my contract ended several days before I shipped out but that pesky stop-loss is in effect and so here I am. Just so you know, the gospel is true even in the combat zone, and I have seen amazingly close calls that I know are not coincidental. I attribute it to the prayers of all the faithful back home. Speaking of back home, once this is over I have a job waiting for me at a national accounting firm in Vegas, as I am nearly done with a masters in accounting from SUU. Have a g'day! |
