After returning, I joined the Army and met my wife Jennifer while stationed in San Antonio. We have 6 children - Eloria, Emma, Michael, Elaine, Eliza, and Elissa.
I bounced around the country quite a bit, but I eventually found my way back home to Washington State. We purchased a house in Forks during the summer of 2007. I live close to the extreme most northwestern point in the continental U.S. I work in the Critical Care unit at the local hospital. When I'm not working, I'm playing outdoors, fishing with the kids, or toying around with the computer. I am currently serving as the 2nd assistant in the High Priest group leadership in my ward.
Some of my best memories from my mission were times with my MTC brothers, serving in Armenia (my first area), serving in Buga with Elder Warner, and my time in Medellin.
It's been well over a decade since I returned home, and yet hardly a day goes bye that I don't think about my time in the mission field and how it influenced my testimony of the gospel. I am eternally grateful for the opportunity I had to serve. |
