Some say that my life is not a success I'm 56, never married, thus I am not a mom. I have 58 nieces,nephews,great nieces & nephews,I count as blessings. I have taught in RS, a stake mission, ward camp director, the bulletin specialist & I am now a substitute teacher for Primary. The children are indeed the valiant ones saved for the last days. I love this job, sometimes it's hard to prepare a lesson in a few hours.
I have not become wealthy either, I work at a hospital in the OR. After 18 yrs of nites I'm working days. I relied on the Lord for help with the emergencies I had on nights, I asked for this help on days, I have been blessed.
I use my Spanish some at work, when I converse all in Spanish. I feel like a greeny again. I never lost the love for the people of the mission field, both members and missionaries alike. This is what made my mission so great. |
